It sound so intimate when your on-screen lover becomes your real life partner. Recently,TV actress Smriti Khanna, who was seen as “Malaika” in a popular Colors show ‘Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki’ got engaged to her on-screen lover Gautam Gupta from serial “Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi”.

Well It’s a well-known viral truth that Gautam and smriti are deeply in love with each other from quiet a long time and now they have officially moved one step ahead in their relationship.
Smriti herself shared this wonderful news with all her fans on Instagram with that sparkling stone on her ring finger and entitled it as, “I am yours and you are mine.From today, till the end of time!! #itsofficial”

Smriti and Gautam were in Goa when they got engaged. As per the report of an digital entertainment portal, Gautam cracked the question much to the surprise of Smriti, who with a big lovely smile and happy tear in her eyes said a YES.

While speaking with the portal, Smriti said “We are here in Goa to celebrate Gautam’s birthday (which was yesterday, 13 April), and he just swept me off my feet with this lovely surprise. We started dating after Meri Aashiqui got over and I think its magical how we connected and found love.

Our families are really excited and it is an amazing feeling.”
