This was the first time when Salman Khan and Sooraj Barjatya came together and laid the foundation of a super successful combo which, in years to come, delivered a slew of blockbuster movies like ‘Hum Aapke Hain Koun’, ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’ and ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’.

Driven by friendship, love and passion of two individuals with diverse background, the film did wonders for the newcomers Salman Khan and Bhagyashree. It made them stars overnight and catapulted them to the highest peak of stardom. Salman became a heartthrob of millions. Girls swooned over him wherever he went.
