After declaring Deepika Padukone as the official BAE of the female population (despite continuous warnings from my Editor against using the word, BAE), it’s time to close the year with a deserving ode to her. 2016 hasn’t been a year to write home about (garbage year, garbage year); our homegirl, though, has seen some definite highs, both sartorially and personally. She has landed herself a Hollywood debut opposite Vin Diesel, gone ahead and launched a foundation addressing depression (so much win), and emerged with boo Ranveer Singh recently, slamming all break up rumours.
