Deepika Padukone and Fawad Khan turned to be the perfect showstoppers for Manish Malhotra at ICW 2016. The “Bajirao Mastani” star looked ravishing in a beautiful off shoulder choli, with intricate gold embroidery and a long-trailed lehenga. And Pakistani star Fawad Khan walks in black Kurta and deep maroon palazzo-pyjama and opened the grand show for the designer.

Titled ‘The Persian Story’, ace couturier Manish Malhotra — who opened the India Couture Week 2016 at Taj Palace Hotel in New Delhi — skillfully married craftsmanship and heritage in his latest bridal collection.

His design narrative was inspired by the stunning architecture of Persia, blooming paradise of fauna and flora and fearless royals who ruled their vast kingdoms.

But it was showstopper Deepika Padukone who left us mesmerised with her spectacular appearance.
