Mallika is the first Indian woman to get an offer to pose nude for Playboy magazine and appear on the cover page. Mallika turned down the offer in an attempt to avoid the risk of being blacklisted in the Indian film industry. You know what she wore diamonds of Rs. 45 million at Cannes (2005). They were sponsored by Orra Diamonds. Nine sets of jewelery were exclusively designed for Mallika, including diamond studded necklaces, bracelets and earrings.

‘The Bachelorette – Mere Khayalon Ki Mallika’ (2013) was a show where she had to find her perfect groom from the show. There were many male contestants and she chose a Dharamsala based model Vijay Singh. He beat the other finalist Karan Sagoo, an NRI restaurant owner from London. Mallika and Vijay part ways due to long distance gap and big age gap as well. But, it was a mutual decision.

Mallika has worked a lot in Bollywood but have a super name in Hollywood as well. In 2009, Sherawat starred in a Hollywood film named ‘Hisss’, co-starring Irrfan Khan and directed by Jennifer Lynch. Sherawat starred in another Hollywood film, ‘Politics of Love’, aka ‘Love’, ‘Barack’, directed by William Dear. In 2012 Sherawat featured with American pop star Bruno Mars in his parody video of ‘Salt-N-Pepper Whatta Man’ for the comedy website ‘Funny or Die’.

Her upcoming Bollywood film is ‘Zeenat’ which will be released in the end of this year. The movie has no bold scenes and it can be watched with family.

Vikram Lamba is Reema Lamba’s brother. Mallika changed her name as she wanted to enter Bollywood. She is in good terms with her loving brother and her mother.
